IPTV provides access to media over the Internet, similar to YouTube or Netflix. All you need is an Internet connection (we recommend minimum 10Mb/s) and a subscription with a reputable provider. You can then access the content from a variety of devices.
Most services are accessible through your computer using VLC media player, through an Android Box (either via a separate app or a Kodi add-on) or through dedicated IPTV set-top boxes (Mag or Dreamlink recommended). We definitely recommend using a dedicated IPTV box, as they are purpose-built for IPTV streaming. Setting up the IPTV provider is incredibly easy. Depending on how you intend to access the streams, simply open a file provided by your provider in VLC media player, download an app on your Android box or enter a Stalker portal on your IPTV device, and you are ready to go.
On top of live TV stations, you also get access to video-on-demand content. Most providers have hundreds, if not thousands, of movies, TV shows and PPV events in their VOD library, available for streaming whenever you want. Additionally, when using Android or IPTV set-top boxes, you are able to use an Electronic Program Guide that helps you find the programs that are most relevant to you.
So what sets this apart from the dozens of free Kodi add-ons? While Kodi made streaming popular, it is unreliable and services get taken down fairly quickly. IPTV providers, on the other hand, require on-going subscriptions, ensuring that the providers have adequate funds to ensure the integrity of the streams and service. Sure, everyone loves free stuff, but there is no such thing as free and reliable live TV streaming. If reliability, quality, and ease-of-use are important to you, opt for a dedicated IPTV provider.
